Chloristrous

6/1/23

This one goes out to all of the bass heads out there. It feels good to be back!

So now that I can actually hear my kick and snare drums in my mixes, I had to dive back into some more of my heavier bass influences. I loves wubs. There something really special about the power that bass brings. I love shows just for the reason of being able to feel the bass all around me. It’s like a blanket of sound waves holding me in its warm embrace.

My journey to start releasing music again is a nerve-racking one so it’s special being able to release a song that inspires me to be confident and brave. I can work out to this song, cry to this song, and rage to this song all at once. It’s such a powerful combination of energy and I’m proud of how fat it came out. We need inspiration and we need energy. This track will give us the push to get that morning workout in, start that assignment you need to do, or confront that person you need to talk to. Let’s take the step into the unknown and release out inner monsters!

Again, I’m no worldclass mixing engineer, but the song is delivered in a way that I’m proud of and more importantly, you’ll hear it on your phone, your car, or your nice sound bar all the same. Those shitty earbuds will still sound fire and I’m really proud of that. I can’t wait to keep getting better with each mix. I’m refining my ears more and more and I know the process of how to get my sounds thick quicker and quicker.

I’m getting super hyped thinking about the next heavy bass song I release because I’ll probably be that much better creating space and clarity between my elements. I want all of the ear candy to shine and all of the fat sounds to be as fat and as thick and as in your face as possible!

If you think this one is fat, just you wait, kids.

Now get out there and go kick your dreams ass!
